Our Squaw Valley lodging style is a Bed and Breakfast set up, where guests choose to rent one, two, or all three of our attractive guest rooms. However, rather than provide a breakfast, we have chosen to open our kitchen for guests to use too! Guests often bring in groceries and their favorite recipes to cook any meals that they choose, in our lovely gourmet kitchen. This Squaw Valley rental is perfect for couples, singles, friends, families and small groups. Guestroom #1 - THE PONDEROSA KING with one king-size bed Guestroom #2 - THE PONDEROSA QUEEN with one queen-size bed All Guestrooms have shared use of Central Living Room, Gourmet Kitchen, Scenic Dining Room, laundry facilities and high speed internet access. These lovely guestrooms are located on the upper level of our three-story guesthouse. Enjoy your view of the ski slopes, through your SIX-FOOT OCTAGONAL WINDOW that looks out over the central living area with its 23-foot cathedral ceiling and walls that are mostly glass. Your picturesque view is the rugged High Sierra mountains, tall Ponderosa Pines and ski slopes of Squaw Valley USA. Decorated with "Country Fresh" decor, the rooms are light and airy, with high beamed ceilings and knotty pine trim. A 200 channel Satellite TV is in each room. The bathroom is shared between these two guestrooms and right outside your door. You also have a vanity sink with mirror inside your room. The Ponderosa King is the larger of the two guestrooms and a king-size bed. Descend the spiral staircase to the central living room, gourmet kitchen with dining area, another bathroom, laundry room (detergent provided), and tiled entry. Guestroom #3 - THE HIDEAWAY GUESTROOM with one king-size bed and one twin-size bed. Hidden away on the lower level of the guesthouse, this is a cozy, secluded room. Though not a large room, many make it their number one choice. Room is right across the hall from a bath that is shared with one other room.
