We have (2) privately owned homes: "SUNSET CAPTIVA PARADISE" and "AMORE CAPTIVA". They have all the comforts of home and are furnished with linens, towels, full kitchens, cooking & eating utensils, beach towels/chairs/toys. We also provide a "starter pack" of supplies including bath/hand soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet & facial tissue, and garbage bags. We want you to be able to begin enjoying your tropical island getaway without having to worry about rushing to the store - you'd probably rather rush to the beach instead! Sorry - both homes are non-smoking and although we love pets, the are not allowed.

*SUNSET CAPTIVA PARADISE: 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, Dining room, Living room, Sun/Moon Deck, Screened Lanai. This spacious home is tastefully decorated in fun primary colors with a tropical flair and offers you a home away from home. It is nesteled in the heart of the Village and within walking distance to everything: the pool, beach, bay-side dock, marina, island store, island shops, many restaurants, library, and Chapel by the Sea. The king size Master bedroom has a private bath & it's french doors lead to the sun/moon deck (which is shared with the loft). The loft has 2 twin beds and its own door to the sun/moon deck. The guest bedroom (main level) is next to a full bathroom and has a queen size & twin size bed. The living room features cathedral ceilings & offers a "comfy" place to read, relax, or settle in for a movie. The dining room and full kitchen both have separate sliding glass doors opening to a screened lanai - a peaceful place to begin your day or a romantic evening dinner. The house is climate controlled with central air (new in 2005) and heat, and ceiling fans. Relax by the heated pool (approx 200 ft from house) or follow the nice boardwalk from the pool area to the beach (approx 300 ft). Keep your eyes open - you can see dolphins almost any time of day!!

*"AMORE CAPTIVA": Newly built in 2005, this luxurious, 4 bedroom (sleeps 10), 3 bath home with elevator has a spectacular location - within the gates of the *South Seas Plantation Resort and very close to the Captiva Village. This home offers you *resort amenities, the quiet privacy of home, and opportunity to enjoy the Village and white sandy beach.

"AMORE CAPTIVA" has many superb qualities; elevator access, 2 washer/dryers, dual ac units for your comfort, ceiling fans, Bay & Gulf views, private pool & jacuzzi, (6) TV's (37" in Living room) located in the kitchen, bedrooms, and living room, surround sound speaker system with remote access (listen to your music, tv, or movie from the pool area, entertainment area, living room, kitchen, or bedrooms!) Enjoy the magical night sky on the 3rd level "sky deck", sit and relax on the open air deck, swim & sunbathe at our poolside, rock yourself to sleep in our screened lanai, or entertain, relax, or take a little siesta in our hammock located in the shady poolside entertainment area. Grab a book and head to the loft where you can lean back on the window seat or stretch out on the sofa sleeper.

"AMORE CAPTIVA" is professionally decorated in a "fresh traditional" feel with a touch of island flavor. Each bedroom reflects various tropical hues. Be sure to sit in front of the living room fireplace & cozy up for a movie on the 37" flat screen TV. With a full kitchen you will be able to enjoy a home cooked meal and wheter you want to dine together in the spacious dining area, have a quick snack at the snack bar, or enjoy the lush tropical vegetation while grilling at the pool -"Amore Captiva" has the perfect spot for you! However, Captiva also has many "not to miss" wonderful restaurants to cure your thirst, appetite, and dessert cravings. The white sands of the Gulf of Mexico are just steps away - grab our wagon, fill it with our beach toys/chair/cooler and head to the beach. Captiva is well known for the breathtaking sunsets and awesome shelling.
