CHARMING GULF COTTAGE #1104 (BEACHFRONT) Enjoy wonderful privacy at our direct beach front home.

Suzy Q’s, is a 3-bedroom and 3-baths plus a 4th loft bedroom home that can sleep 2 to 9 people. Our home is on the beach in South Seas Resort, which is located at the tip end of Captiva Island, Florida. You have 2 miles of private beach and the best shelling imaginable. Suzy Q’s Gulf Cottage 1104 also has a shared pool for your use within a 3 minute walk. Beach lounges, beach towels and children’s sand and beach toys are provided for your use. When you are there you will feel as if you own the entire beach since so few people ever walk by. One of the few places left in the world that offers such peace, harmony and serenity.

Suzy Q’s on Captiva Island is a bright, comfortable and lovely decorated home with 3 new bathrooms, new kitchen appliances and brand new carpet. You can see the ocean while relaxing on your living room sofa, having your meals in the dining room or cooking in the kitchen. You are surrounded by the beautiful blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico wherever you look. You can even stay in bed in the master bedroom to enjoy the ocean and exquisite sunsets.

You and your family can spend hours collecting all kinds of sea shells or building great sand castles. Swimming and snorkeling are easy in the warm Gulf waters and most days you can see the dolphins swimming in front of our Cottage. You can even fish in the surf in front of the house.

You will love the Master bedroom with beautiful blue and white bedding to match the ocean blue color of the carpet. The new master bath with tumbled marble, new sinks, new lighting and a large shower is our latest addition.

Your family will love the bedroom with twin beds which is also on the first level with the remodeled new 2nd bathroom that has a fabulous Mackenzie Childs hand painted sink. You also have a separate laundry room with a washer and dryer.

Upstairs is a queen bed in the 3rd bedroom plus a beautifully remodeled 3rd bathroom with a tub/shower. A wonderful daybed in the loft that can be used as a single bed or a trundle with twins. We also keep a futon chair that can be used as an extra single bed when needed.

You will find total conveniences at South Seas Resort where Suzy Q is located. A free tram operates from 8 AM to 11 PM daily that circles the Resort and picks you up wherever you are on the main road. It is like being in your own private village.

If you get tired of just being lazy on the beach and watching the sunsets the other amenities in this area that are available are a fitness center, boating, sailing, biking, golf, 17 swimming pools, tennis, fishing, parasailing, canoeing, kayaking, children’s programs, etc. Island cruises, cocktail and dinner cruises leave from the Resort marina daily (which is approximately ½ mile from the Cottage). Resort amenities are optional for an extra fee.

You can get fresh croissants, muffins, coffee and deli foods daily at the Marina Store and the General Store, grocery items are there as well. Also choose between 4 restaurants within the Resort and 8 others a few blocks away in the Village to compliment every palate. There are also many shops and galleries within walking distance.
