The best things in Napa Valley are free. So what are you waiting for - get going and start packing for a great trip to Napa.
Biking. Cycling is one of the best ways to see the Wine Country—the Russian River and Dry Creek valleys are particularly beautiful. Just remember that drinking and riding are a dangerous mix!
Browsing farmers' markets. Almost every town in Napa and Sonoma has a seasonal farmers' market, each rounding up an amazing variety of local produce. Most markets run from spring through early fall, usually on Saturday mornings and sometimes on Tuesday evenings, too.
Westwood Hills Park. A 98-acre public park with a nature library for kids and great trails with a view of Napa Valley, interconnecting and meandering
through groves of oak and sunny wildflower-strewn meadows. Be prepared for a few steep inclines.
Touring the di Rosa Preserve. the di Rosa collection represents the most extensive gathering of
contemporary California Bay Area art available anywhere in the world.
Entirely surrounded by vineyards and studded with hundreds of 150-year
old olive trees, the Preserve's 250 acre setting is utterly unique.
