Let DestinationVillas.com help you search for the perfect place to stay on your next vacation! You can search for a vacation rental by location (i.e. state or city), number of bedrooms, rental rates, or property type (house, apartment, condo, etc.). You can investigate individual property listings, review the property descriptions and photos, and contact the vacation rental owner directly via the email, fax or telephone number provided on each rental listing page.

Registration is NOT required. Simply search our property listings to find the perfect place to stay on your next vacation.
How do I make a reservation?
Once you have selected the property you wish to reserve, contact the owner or manger directly using the phone numbers or e-mail posted on that properties listing page. DestinationVillas.com does not take reservations on your behalf and we cannot answer any questions regarding specific properties. DestinationVillas.com does not act as a reservation or booking agent. All bookings and reservations are made by you directly with the vacation rental owner or representative. Please refer to our Disclaimer.
How do I find Last-Minute Deals?
Simply enter your e-mail address and location (state and city) of the area you wish visit. Click the send button and you will be auto e-mailed Last-Minute Deal properties as they become available in that destination. You may register for as many destinations as you like. The database will send updates on available properties in the desired destination until you unsubscribe to the service.
How do I save properties to MyFavorites list?
Each time you view a property you have the option to click the Save to MyFavorites link on that property listing page. Doing so will save properties to the My Favorites list you create. Each time you come back to DesstinatonVillas.com you can review the properties you have selected by clicking on MyFavorites. The MyFavorites service will only function if you have enabled cookies on your personal computer.
Does DestinationVillas.com verify the listing information on this website?
No. All listing information is provided directly by the vacation rental owner or their representative. We do not warrant or verify listing information (please refer to our Disclaimer). Owners using our service strive to provide quality accommodations and service, however you must verify all details of the transaction and property directly with the owner.
How do I handle payments?
Payments are made directly to the vacation rental owner/manager. Since each vacation rental is individually owned and operated, the payment methods and schedules will vary. Typically you will be required to make a reservation deposit, then the balance to be paid in one or two payments. Most owners/managers require full rent plus a deposit paid prior to your arrival. Payment methods will vary by owner. Before you send any money (even the deposit) we recommend that you ask the owner/manager about their cancellation policies. It is best to have these policies in writing.
Are there extra fees beyond the nightly or weekly rental costs?
There are typically several additional fees beyond the nightly or weekly rental fee. These fees may include cleaning fees, local taxes and a refundable damage deposit. In some cases, additional fees may exist for maid service, air conditioning, telephone calls or other things specific to the property. These fees are often spelled out in the rental agreement, however, you should confirm these fees with the vacation rental owner/manager prior to paying your deposit.
How are cancellation and refunds handled?
The cancellation policy should be clearly stated in the rental agreement. You should understand the policies and note that the owner has the right to implement those policies. The rental of a private residence means that you are blocking its use by any other party. Therefore the cancellation policies are enforced. Note that cancellations due to weather conditions are not usually permitted unless specified in the rental agreement.
Are the prices set or is there room for negotiation?
Most vacation rental owners/managers are somewhat flexible on their pricing during certain times of the year. DestinationVillas.com encourages them to advertise discounts or seasonal rates in the specials area of their listing. However you should not expect the owner/manager to drastically discount their rent just because the unit is not booked. Generally speaking rates are firm during high seasons and holidays. The same holds true for the minimum number of nights required. If you are requesting a week that is in the low season for a given area, then the owner/manager may be able negotiate on price.
What if there is a problem during my stay?
It is in your best interest to report any problems immediately to the property manager or owner. Contact information for local representative should be included in pre arrival instructions or posted in the unit.
Am I responsible to clean the unit when I leave?
Check out policies should be part of the instructions you were provided. Since cleaning standards vary, it is important to know how much the owners expect you to clean up prior to departure.
At minimum, the rental should be left tidy.
Vacate the property at the scheduled time so that housekeeping can get the unit ready for the next guests. Make sure you leave keys or beach badges where you found them. After your departure the owner/manager will verify that there is no damage. Assuming there is no damage, the owner will refund your security deposit within a couple of weeks.
How much does it cost?
The basic listing is FREE.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No, you do not need to use a credit card to list your vacation property on
Destinationvillas.com. You may create a listing and then decide how you
prefer to pay. Our site is a secure e-commerce site. We do recommend payment
by credit card because it allows your page to go live instantly and you will be
able to take reservations the same day. Members paying by check will have to wait
for the payment to clear before their page will go live. However if you

Do I need to know HTML, or how to design a web page?
No. When you join DestinationVillas.com you do not need to do anything more than fill out a few simple web forms. We have gone out of our way to make it easy. All you need to do is type information into the forms or click on a box to select features and amenities particular to your property. Once you click on save, we take care of the rest. How are rates set?
You have complete control over how you set rates and policies. Our goal
is to give you maximum flexibility and control. You determine the price
you want to charge for specific times of the year. You may show rates per night,
per week, per month, or all three. You can modify the rates and policies
anytime 24/7 using the Owners Dashboard. Changes made appear instantly. Make sure to
try out our Rate Calculator, which is a tool for both renters and owners. It is customized for
each listing automatically when you complete your rate chart.
Who updates my pages?
You do. We have created a site with a secure web based administration tool you can access anytime 24/7. You have the flexibility to update prices, promotions, sales copy, photos or amenities at any time, free of charge.
How will I receive inquiries?
Renters browse listings by destination or activity.
Once they find your property they call or e-mail a request
to you. If it is an e-mail request, it instantly logs into your
inquires tracking log for that specific property. If you receive a
call, you can enter the inquiry manually into your log. Inquiries convert
into reservations with just the click of your mouse. We are the only site on
the web to offer a tool to track and convert inquiries into calendar reservations.

Can I cancel my listing?
You may cancel your listing at anytime. Canceling your listing is as easy as

We do not provide refunds for cancellations however because once your web
page has been posted and optimized, the bulk of our services have been rendered.
For the duration of the membership you will continue to receive value via newsletters
and industry tips, until your membership expires or you choose to unsubscribe.

FAQ’s - Photos.
Is there a charge to Add photos to my listing?
Your listing page includes three photos and there is no charge for these first 3 photos.
You may pay as you go for additional photos. There is never a charge for updating photos.
Can I have more than three photos on my listing?
Three individual images are provided with your listing page. However, we can
add up to 9 extra photos (for a total of 12 photos per listing). The cost for extra photos
is minimal. We offer photo upgrades at 80% off what other sites charge because we believe
that photos are the single most important upgrade you can make. Photos can be added at anytime.
If I add my photos and later decide to change one or more photo, is there an extra charge?
There is not charge for replacing photos, and you may do so at any time.
How can I move my listing up higher in my city/destination?
The more photos you have on your listing, the higher your listing will
appear within your city /location. Adding more photos to your listing can
increase your exposure and number of booking by moving your listing up the list.
Can I upload my digital photos?
Yes. You can logon to your account and upload your photos at any time.
From the home page just click the link my properties, then the photos tab,
after logging into your accountAs you upload each photo, it is immediately added to your
listing. NOTE: Sometime after your photos are added to your listing, they will be reviewed and
edited by our service to ensure that the photos on your listing are of the highest quality.
What works best? Vertical photos (Portrait orientation) or Horizontal photos (Landscape orientation)?
Photos that are landscape orientation (wider than they are high) are much preferred.
Your finished page layout will look the best if you provide landscape.
What if I have trouble uploading a photo or don’t know how?
You may seek help by emailing a question or problem to help@destinationvillas.com.
If you continue to have difficulty, you may e-mail or mail us your photos. The help desk
will assist you with that.
My DestinationVillas® photos turned out so good... can I copy them to my personal site or give permission for others to copy photos from my DestinationVillas® listing?
No. All photos presented to DestinationVillas® for inclusion on the DestinationVillas® site have been
modified by our service. They are color enhanced, re-sized, optimized for quick loading on the web, etc.
The photos posted on the DestinationVillas® site are copyrighted by DestinationVillas® and copying them
is strictly prohibited by copyright law.
We recommend that you use the original photos that you sent to use rather than
our copies for you personal site OR for advertising on additional sites.
We do not hold a copyright to your original photos, we do however hold the
copyright to the modified photo posted on the DestinationVillas® site and to
any derivative works. The law reads "Only the owner of copyright in a work has
the right to prepare, or to authorize someone else to create, a new version of

Am I allowed to use photos from other DestinationVillas® listings?
No, unless you also own the other DestinationVillas® listing, or other photos due to
copyright laws. If we do receive photos from another listing that is not yours, they
will not be processed and you will be asked to send replacement photos.
