Everyone from the guy next door to the high net-worth gentry are looking for travel bargains. According to Forbes magazine the number one factor when booking travel this year is price. And according to Travelocity prices have fallen 18% from January 2008. That means travelers and vacationers will find steep discounts in 2009 as resorts seek to romance travelers to thier doors.

How do you find those great deals?  Shop! Shop! Shop! Here are 5 tips to
finding the best vacation deals in 2009.

1. Shop around. Preview several sites to get a sense of what travel deals
are out there.

2. Be flexible on dates and days of travel. Click the flexible dates box to

3. Shop by price not by destination. Go where the deals are.

4. Book now for travel dates in March, April and May and take advantage of
recession discounts and shoulder season rates combined.
