It wouldn't be summer without a trip to the beach or to an amusement theme park. You can easily plan an entire vacation around any one of these famous and historic parks. Discover why any one of these theme parks will make a quintessential summer family vacation destination.
Hershey Park, Hershey, Pa.
Celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2007 and has lots of new attractions to offer. The park has reinvented itself over the century and is a true American landmark. Hershey Park combines roller coasters, water park attractions and tours of the chocolate factory. Be sure to bring home some famous Hershey’s Kiss treats.
Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA.
Why not combine the history of Colonial Williamsburg with the excitement a day or two at Busch Gardens. Budget a minimum of four days to see it all. We recommend making a stop in Jamestown, the first American settlement and where Pocohantas lived. It is a short excursion from Colonial Williamsburg.
Legoland, Carlsbad, CA
